Tayside Biodiversity - Get Involved - Projects - Sand Martins - Survey
Sand martin nesting sites are notoriously difficult to monitor as most natural ones deteriorate over time and, where possible, the birds use new locations nearby.

However, there is an increasing number of artificial walls, barrels and boxes being used throughout Tayside – and many existing sites that are known to local people.  All sightings of this species will be recorded whether or not they are at nest sites.

All information you can offer is vital to their safeguarding in the region.
